Storyline      

        After four years in prison for taking the fall for his old crime boss, Derek Wu (Jason Yee) is released. With the support of his best friend, Ray Jones, (Thomas Braxton, Jr.) Derek tries to redeem his life by getting a regular job and starting over with his ex-girlfriend.  Then, a series of brutal murders take place and veteran homicide detective, Jim Harris, makes Derek the prime suspect.  The victims are Derek’s former gang buddies. 

Detective Harris was on Derek’s trail for murder before Derek was sent away to prison for heroin possession.  Harris is convinced Derek is responsible the murderer due to his shady past.  When Derek’s old crime boss Buddha, finds out about his release from prison, he thinks that Derek is seeking revenge.  Buddha assumes Derek is slaughtering his gang members as payback for taking the fall for Buddha’s crime organization.  Derek is soon confronted by his old gang who seek retribution for the current murders. 

        When a cop is killed amidst a confrontation, detective Harris sees Derek holding a gun, standing over the dead cop’s body.  Derek flees the scene and struggles to find a way to prove his innocence and find the true assassin.  Though Ray is Derek’s best friend, he is now having a hard time believing in Derek’s innocence.  When Derek’s ex-girlfriend tries to find him, she gets caught up in deadly web of vengeance.
